The Lake District. Having listened to our travellers, it became clear that a visit to The Lake District was not before time. Accordingly, Pepe and Peter spent a day researching what should be an enjoyable trip. Following our coach journey, we will disembark at Newby Bridge and board The Lakeland Steamer to Bowness, where we will be free to explore this charming town, it’s varied shops and attractions. We will then reassemble to board the return cruise to Newby Bridge, where afternoon tea awaits us in the conservatory overlooking the lake. Once fed and watered, we will return by coach to our native area of natural beauty, taking in the scenic journey along the way.
