Surrounded by a 250 acre park, Carlton Towers is the home of Lord and Lady Gerald Fitzalan Howard. Originally completed in 1614, renovations were carried out in 1777 and 1842. Over the years, the house has had a number of uses; during the second world war it was an auxiliary military hospital and more recently has been the back drop for a number of television and film projects.
Tea and coffee will be served upon arrival in the Venetian drawing room followed by a guided tour of the property. Lunch will then be provided in the vineyard where we will Dine under the Vine, weather permitting. If weather prevents Al Fresco eating, lunch will be served in the café on site. Following lunch, you will be free to explore the gardens and view the newly planted vineyard.
